Every winter I switch my breakfast routine from summer smoothies to winter oatmeal. And every year it takes me a couple weeks to get it just right. So future self: here is perfect oatmeal!

Ingredients
- 1 cup steel cut oats
- 2 cups water
- 2 cups oat milk
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla
- Pinch of salt
- 1.5 Tbsp flaxseed
- 1.5 Tbsp chia seed
- 4 dates (chopped)
- 4 dried figs (chopped)
- 1/4 cup toasted pecan pieces
- 2 Tbsp toasted coconut flakes
