The carnivore loves Chinese Broccoli beef. Like the kind you get takeout at 1.35 Scoop. So I made some for Valentines Day.

Ingredients
- 1 lb flank steak
- 1 lb broccoli
- 1 bell pepper (or any other veggies you want to throw in, optional)
- 1/2 onion
- 2-3 tsp oil
- 1.5 cup rice
Sauce ingredients
- 1 tsp freshly grated ginger
- 3-4 cloves garlic – minced
- 1/2 cup hot water
- 6 Tbsp soy sauce
- 3 Tbsp packed light brown sugar
- 1 1/2 Tbsp corn starch
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 2 Tbsp sesame oil
Instructions
- Cook rice.
- Combine ingredients for sauce.
- Cut onion into chunk, and broccoli into floretes.
- Heat 1 tsp oil and add veggies. Add a little water to soften them up. Remove from pan
- While veggies are cooking slice the meat against the grain very thin.
- Heat 1 tsp oil and cook the meat in batches flipping pieces so each side gets about 2 minutes.
- Add veggies back to the pan, add sauce, simmer until you are ready to eat!
