Energy balls

The perfect pre workout bite. Or really anytime cuz they’re delicious. I used to make these all the time but hadn’t in years. There’s lots of recipes out there on the Interwebs, thanks to Lilly for sending me this one, which is the one I always used to use, but never wrote down cuz it was just memorized.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup instant oats
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (Lilly used 1/2 chocolate chops 1/2 cranberries)
  • 1/2 cup ground flaxseed
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • New addition: 1 Tbsp chia seeds mixed with 2 Tbsp water (do this first and let them sit for 5-10 minutes)

Just combine and roll into balls! I store them in the fridge.
